This story left me quite honestly speechless. It makes no sense!
A four year old child has died after falling and bumping his head whilst out shopping with his mother. Harry Blackmore was swinging on a small steel rail when he fell in the store in Liverpool. His devastated mother was shopping just yards away when the tragedy happened. Harry was taken to hospital but died at the end of a 10-day bedside vigil by his parents Suzanne Bond and Stephen Blackmore. Read the rest of this entry »

Jeffers and I currently rent a one bedroom apartment in a building that isn’t in the greatest shape. The building is part of a three building complex. A month after we moved in three years ago, one of the building burnt to the ground, rendering over 100 people homeless, with most of them losing everything they owned. Read the rest of this entry »

I caught a show on TV tonight called More To Love. The show centers around a bigger man looking for a woman to love and marry. The series started with twenty curvy women all vying for his affection and love, and with tonights episode, that number was whittled down to two. Read the rest of this entry »

Warning – Long Post.
I got to thinking about the kids going back to school soon. They go back on Tuesday after Labour Day here in Canada. It takes me back to my own school days. I was bullied when I was in what I guess would now be called Primary School, though back then, it was called Middle School. I went there with my best friend Kim. Read the rest of this entry »

This coming Saturday I fly back home to the UK for a few weeks. I have to renew my passport. Stupidly, when I checked my passport, I read the last two numbers wrong, and when I double checked, I realized it had already expired. Yikes! Now what? Read the rest of this entry »

We finally did it! On saturday the 20th of June (and the busiest wedding weekend of the year according to our marriage commisioner!) I became Mrs Vickers, loving wife of Jeff, my partner of five years.
Its been a long five years, and at times, I wondered if we’d ever make it down the aisle. It seemed that every time we started planning, something happened, and our carefully scrimped savings had to go towards something else – like the car. But finally, we made it, and I’d like to share a few photos of our big day with you. Read the rest of this entry »

I’m certain that most of you don’t know what in the hell this post title is all about lol.
This will be my final post as Miss Randle, and my final post for a little while on here. Jeff and I are getting married tomorrow morning at 10am. After 5 years we’re finally tying the knot and becoming joined as one. I’m so excited, but also so nervous that I feel sick lol. Read the rest of this entry »

So I caved. I hit the 19 hour mark and I caved. The withdrawals were so intense I felt physically sick, and oh boy was I ever a bitch! I coudn’t sit still, I was snapping at Jeffers, and in the end, he got frustrated with me and we had a huge all out argument that just made me feel even worse. Read the rest of this entry »

So, I’m up to just over 9 hours without a smoke, and though I’m not doing too badly, the restlessness is starting to creep in a little bit. This is what I’ve been trying to mentally prepare for, so that I don’t go mad before the day is out. Read the rest of this entry »

Last night while I soaked my knee in the bath (long story, I screwed it up pretty good), I reflected on where my life, and health in general, is going. I lost a very good friend of mine last week, and that’s had a profound effect on me this week, with not being able to sleep so well, and just hit me like a ton of bricks. Read the rest of this entry »
